Strategic Content Imaging (SCI), Secaucus NJ, was chosen as the primary print service provider to print and fulfill orders generated through a nationwide writing contest tied to the major motion picture release of Dr Seuss's The Lorax. SCI's workflow will seamlessly process files generated from the "Every Inkling Makes a Difference" website and utilize a host of HP digital printing technology to print individual copies of storybooks submitted by contest participants.

"The entire project is centered around the Lorax's theme of environmentally sustainability, and Earth-friendly business practices." says Burt Scherman, President of SCI. "And the HP technology coupled with SCI's proprietary workflow allows for mass customization with very, very low waste, a theme that is right in line with the Lorax message."

 February 2012 - Strategic Content Imaging was selected by the Xplor Awards Committee as one of the two Honorable Mentions for the 2012 Technology Application of the Year Award. The Technology Application Award is presented to an individual, a company, or an organization to recognize outstanding achievement in the imaginative application of current technology and/or unique implementation of existing electronic document systems.

 The Smart Binder will work in concert with our HP T-300 to produce 8.5" x 11" saddle wire products at a staggering 300 ft/per minute. It can also bind products with a 10" x 12" trim size!

Plans call for joint venture with SCI I, LLC, a member of the Command Web Group of companies, to provide a wide variety of digital print services for academic, scholarly and professional publishers.
